Thermal Cladding Solutions (TCS) is the solution to the new Australian Standards AS5113:2016 Fire Propagation Testing. TCS renders are 99% inorganic and contain 40% recycled content. It is a one-coat, multi-purpose, thermal render that may be applied to many building surfaces. Our renders are up to seven times lighter than conventional cement renders. They are rated for 2 hours at 1200°C at 20mm thickness.  TCS renders also provide thermal R rating of 1.8 at 20mm thickness, are breathable, yet hydrophobic and provide sound insulation qualities.

TCS renders may be used on high rise, multi-storey and single level dwellings. The renders may be used in lift shafts, over columns and piping and provides fire protection both from within the building or from external fires (e.g. bushfires). TCS renders may be used as a render, for example, on top of concrete, plastic walling, wood, plywood, cinder blocks, brick, concrete, drywall, sheetrock, densglass, or may be combined with other products or over other products to provide cladding to a building that will meet the current Australian Standards AS5113. For example, working with panel systems providers for multi-storey buildings.

TCS currently has two renders. These include a smooth render (TCS-PV-S), course render (TCS-PV-X). The render may be applied both internally and externally on the building and does not emit any toxic gases when exposed to fire. Paint finishes may be applied. Our third render TCS-PV-FR will be available in the near future.

NEWS ALERT

Thermal Cladding Solutions thermal renders TCS-PV-X, TCS-PV-S and TCS-PV-FR have passed the stringent AS5113 test and 2 of the products are currently available to the market.

This marks a significant step forward in building fire protection and energy efficiency for homes with the improved thermal insulation, water resistance and sound absorption properties of the material.
